Homage to Georgia O’Keefe

The heart of this lily fascinated me with the vivid coral and red of its petals, offset by the flow of its delicate stamens. One of my friends commented that it reminded her of the work of Georgia O’keefe and I was deeply flattered by the comparison. This is an impressionist photo in watercolour mode.
